  1. Ministry of Education (1981 - 1994):
  • Deputy-Director of the Abu Dhabi Educational Zone for Planning and Management.
  • Acting Director of Administrative Affairs, in addition to working as Director for 6 months during the travel of the Administrational Director.
  • Chairman of the management team within the ad hoc Committee for Re-Structuring the Ministry of Education in 1986.
  • Chairman of the Educational Zone’s Planning Commission.
  • Chairman of the school ceremonial committee on local and federal levels for several years, where some of these ceremonies were attended by His Highness President Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan - may God have mercy on him - and the members of the Supreme Council of the Governors of Emirates in 1983 and 1984.
  1. Ministry of Presidential Affairs – formerly the Presidential Divan - (1994 - 2007):
  • Director of the Executive Office.
  • Delegated between 1994 - 1997 to be a director of the Abu Dhabi Authority for Charities.
  • After the end of delegation period, I worked in the Office of Divan’s Cultural Advisor, Dr. Ezzeddine Ibrahim - may Allah have mercy on him - in addition to following up these charitable projects:
        • Educational and administrative expert in the UAE - Libya binational authority for following up the Islamic centers in Africa.
        • Contribution to the development of Sheikh Khalifa Secondary School in Mombasa - Kenya to become the first school at the level of eastern Kenya.
        • Representative of the President Divan in the UAE Family Committee at UAE Women's Federation (2001-2005).
  1. Experience in volunteer charity work:
  1. The UAE Red Crescent (1984 - 1992):
  • Contribution in the first activity undertaken by the association after its foundation – under the presidency of Mr. Eid Khamis Al-Muhairi – which was Africa’s relief campaign executed in Eastern Sudan under the supervision of Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sumait.
  • Member of the Africa Relief Committee representing the Ministry of Education.
  • Chairman of the Ad Hoc Committee for following up orphan care abroad. During these work, the Red Crescent Organization inaugurated branches in Pakistan, North Lebanon and Yemen.
  • Executive Director of the guest houses for our Kuwaiti brothers, in cooperation with the Crown Prince's Court, primarily to provide decent hosting services for those who entered to the Emirates after the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait in 1990.
  • Member of the Higher Committee for Relief, co-founded by Red Crescent Society in collaboration with UAE charities for regulating charitable work in: Sudan, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Burma, northern Iraq (Kurdistan).
  • Participation in a number of conferences held by the association in cooperation with the International Red Crescent and International Red Cross.
  1. Abu Dhabi Authority for Charitable Activities (1992-1997):
        • Positions and Achievements:
  1. Founding Member of Abu Dhabi Authority for Charitable Activities.
  2. Director General of the Authority.
  3. Member of the Authority’s Executive Office.
  4. The Authority’s Board of Directors’ rapporteur.
  5. Chairman of the Committee on Strategic Planning (92-97).
  6. Established foreign branches in: Albania - Bosnia - Indonesia - Kazakhstan - Thailand - Kosovo - Somalia.

The most important achievements of the Abu Dhabi Authority:
        •     Albania:
        • Building 6 large charitable complexes provided with all various facilities.
        • Construction of more than 50 mosques.
        • Custody of more than 2000 orphans.
        • Patronage of imams and preachers in cooperation with the Islamic Sheikhdom.
        • An endowment from the Government of Albania over which a 10-level office complex called after Sheikh Zayed was built and its revenue are expensed on charitable works in the Balkans.
        • Kosovo:
        • Helping hundreds of families affected by the invasion of Serbia.
        • Custody of more than 1500 orphans.
        • Re-construction of 30 mosques from those destroyed or burned during the war.
        • Cooperation with the UAE Armed Forces in the implementation of a number of relief and development projects.
        • Construction of 1,000 homes in collaboration with charities in the UAE.
        • Bosnia:
        • Urgent relief works during the war period (1992-1995).
        • Rebuilding the historic schools and religious institutions that were destroyed during the days of war in collaboration with the Government of Bosnia at the request of the Bosnian President Alija Izetbegovic, whom I once had  the privilege to meet personally and discuss these projects with.
        • Contribution to the establishment of the Coordination Committee of the Islamic relief organizations (25 institutions) in Zagreb - Croatia.
        • Indonesia:
        • Construction of more than 100 mosques.
        • Building 5 centers for vocational training of poor families.
        • Custody of 500 orphans.
        • Custody of excellent students in ten schools.
        • Somalia:
        • The first relief work for the Authority in Somalia began in 1992 in cooperation with the UAE Task Forces.
        • Inauguration of 3 schools of all educational levels to provide educational services to more than 2000 students.
        • Health clinics providing different specializations and minor surgeries.
        • Construction of more than 50 mosques in different sizes in different areas of Somalia.
        • Refugees shelter where urgent relief services are provided.
        • Drill hundreds of wells.
        • Kazakhstan:
        • Opening of the authority’s headquarter in the capital, Almaty, 1994.
        • Custody and management of two orphan houses, in agreement with the Kazakh government.
        • Construction of five charity centers, including a mosque, classrooms and endowments.
        • Custody of 300 orphans and their families.
        • Construction of 30 mosques, including the second largest mosque in Kazakhstan with a capacity of 4000 worshipers.
        • Thailand:
        • Cooperating with the Muslim minority in the south of Thailand.
        • Contributing to the process of building and expansion of Islamic schools, which serving 5,000 students and has maintained the Islamic identity there.
        • Establishment of projects of employment lending poor households.
As well as hundreds of other projects completed in about 20 different countries, especially in Palestine, in collaboration with charities and authorized Zakat committees there.
  1. charitable work Consultations for the benefactors (1997-2007):
Along 13 years of experience in the charitable institutions, I have been devoted in the service of philanthropists as a volunteer seeking reward from Allah, Almighty.
  • By virtue of long experience in the charity and the administrative fields, I have managed Zakat calculations in the companies of philanthropists, and linked them to the local charities statewide.
  • Delivering significant achievements during these years, including:
          • Developing a plan for financial and administrative follow-ups.
          • Following up the philanthropist and his passion for charitable work and implanting love of alms-giving in the souls of children and the whole family.
          • Setting-up a mechanism to follow up the charitable projects and issuing periodic reports of the latest achievements and circling of his money.
          • In field projects, we arranged visits for the philanthropists to have confidence in the work-cycle on ground, and to see the impact of his increased contribution to the development of charity.
          • Shari’a-based review by seeking consultations of numerous fiqh scholars to make sure that Zakats have paid to its suitable outlets.
